Bio
My life's passion is working with couples and individuals to gain clarity, support, and a greater sense of wholeness. Life’s obstacles feel less intimidating when we have a healthy relationship with others and ourselves.
I was born and raised in Alberta. As an adult, I have moved throughout southern Alberta and parts of Saskatchewan and found myself back in my hometown. I have been married since 2005 and have two teenage children.
My Approach
I know reaching out for help can be hard to do. I am here to meet you as you are and walk with you in this process. It is important for me to engage with you from a place of curiosity, not judgment, and to support your autonomy.
I am a trauma-informed therapist who is trained in trauma therapy using narrative therapy and emotionally focused therapy. I also use some tools from the Gottman Method and cognitive behavioural therapy. I also approach therapy from both a systems and an attachment perspective.
